“Worship! It’s literally how God saved me, how He healed me; freed me, and where He has hidden and kept me. I wrote ‘Draw Me Near’ from this place of longing for more of God’s presence. I wanted to write a song that helped me to slow down and enter into the throne room of the Almighty God; to “be still and know” that He is God (Psalm 46:10).
