My wife and I had just returned from visiting the city in Colorado where we felt God calling us to start a new church. It was right in the heart of winter and super cold. When we returned to Texas, there had been a big snowstorm that had taken out the power. All we had for heat was a fire place, so the whole family would spend all of our time in the living room with a constant fire going. 

My wife and I ended up in the hospital for over a week. On the third night they told me that they were going to put me on a breathing tube because my body was not doing well. I cried out for God to heal me and show himself. Three days later I was recovering well and going home! I found out through social media and texts, I hadn’t looked at yet, that there were people praying for us from here to Pakistan. It was amazing to hear and even has been an encouragement to those that heard about our story.

The whole time I was in the hospital I spoke a part of Isaiah 53, “But He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”
