THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG

A new live release from Waking Up The Parishioners - Homegrown Worship’s debut live album.

Written by Homegrown Worship’s Chief Enthusiast, Andy Baker, and feat. Nick Law. One of power and triumph over our many circumstances, all different but all seen and heard by God. We all have our little storms we are facing but there are moments when we take time to sing and worship to our God, break through and healing happens.

“Worship is a weapon of spiritual warfare. The enemy wants our faith in God to be decimated through our pain, suffering and questioning, but God wants to meet us in the chaos, mess and tears. Bringing songs and lifestyle of service to God in our most desperate times can be a challenging sacrifice but it is one worth making.” Singing the songs on this Live Album brought so many walks of life together under the same accord to worship together.

A song of worship for those who feel like they’re in the midst of darkness, for anyone who has lost hope, for anyone who is tasting bitter tears. May this song be a prayer that helps you to step closer to a God who is desperate to comfort you.
