The world around us is loud, with so many differing opinions on so many things, it can be hard sometimes to discern what is true and what is not.  When I wrote this song,  I was struggling with feeling caught in the middle of people on either side of me, who were equally passionate about their positions. I constantly have to go back to the basics of what my relationship has always been with God.  I ask God what his opinion is, to remind me of what is true, and then I listen for his answer, and respond accordingly.
