I take great comfort in the fact that I don’t have to get it all together before I go to the Lord.  He always meets me where I am and accepts me flaws and all.

When I pray, I don’t have to be concerned about having just the right words or whether He will understand.  Jesus looks into my heart and He knows what I will say…Long Before I Start!

Prayer is an essential part of the Christian life.  Philippians 4:6-7 says “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”.

“And we know that our father knows what we need before we ask Him”.  Matt.  6:8
