THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG
No eye has seen and no ear has heard and no mind could ever conceive the wondrous things that God has prepared for those who love Him and believe.
I love this verse from 1 Corinthians Chapter 2 so much that I thought it would be good to sing it and then sing it again and again.
A few years ago I felt lead to pray ‘Lord please expand my imagination’. The inspiration behind this idea was that if God can do more than I can possibly imagine, then the bigger my imagination, the more He can do in and through my life.
Faith is a powerful force. It helps us to step forward into action and invites blessing from on high. Declaring statements of faith puts the wind in our sail and I felt that this song was meant to do just that. Challenging circumstances have a way of limiting our imaginations and stifling our vision. When things aren’t going the way we’d hoped we often imagine the worst case scenarios.
My prayer is that the truth packed into this song will encourage you to dwell on the fact that God has got good things in store for you.
