Life’s journey takes us through many incidents and experiences, some good and others not so good. Regardless of the journeys that we go through, they do not change the promises God made to us.

Never Lonely is a song that came to me when I reflected on an old poem ‘Footprints in the Sand’.  In this poem, there were two sets of footprints that depicted a man’s life journey, one set for him and the other for the Lord. He was to later realise that in the times when he got puzzled because he saw only one set of footprints, those were the difficult times of his life that God carried him and those single footprints were the Lord’s.

It is so comforting and strengthening to know that at different seasons of your life, summer, autumn, winter and spring, sunny days and even lonely long nights, God is with you as he promised in Hebrews 13:5,”......I will never leave you, nor will I ever forsake you.”

You don’t have to feel lonely because you never alone.
