We’ve all had those moments where we really don’t know how we feel.  This song was born from such a moment.

I began writing thinking I don’t really know how I feel, what I want to say or what I’m doing … but I know one thing, I need you God.

I hurried to the closest instrument (probably a piano), and began to sing whatever came into my heart. In this moment it was more of a heart’s cry to the Lord - “Oh how I love you Jesus, take me and draw me nearer to You. Take me deeper in your presence.”

As I sang it over and over again, filling the room with sound, my heart leapt with the sense that this song expressed exactly what I wanted.
