The inspiration for Father came from a book I was reading called “The Purpose and Power of Praise and Worship” by the late Dr Myles Munroe. I sat at my keyboard tinkling the keys and playing around with various chords.  As I played, some references from the book began to come to mind. The author described God's reason for creating us and our purpose as the product of His love. I thought about the fact that God created us to have a relationship with Him.  I began to write from the perspective of His created being and what my response to this ought to be.
