I had always read in the Bible how God would fight and protect His people thinking this only meant physically.  It wasn't until I was going through a rough time in my life where the enemy would attack me with my past that I really felt God’s protection over me.

The Holy Spirit lovingly showed me that His protection is not limited to the physical; He also protects us emotionally, mentally and in many other ways.

This song was birthed from the realisation that I am protected by Him: that He is my protector.
